Washington asks nuclear watchdog to search for two more Syrian nuclear sites

According to the Washington Post, US officials have identified at least three suspected nuclear sites in Syria, two more than the Al Kibar reactor Israel bombed last year, and passed the information to the International Atomic Energy Agency. This confirms the Oct. 25, 2007, disclosure by DEBKAfile military sources that the Israeli raid of Sept. 6 had destroyed at least two nuclear sites in Syria.

Revived warning of al Qaeda’s intention to use WMD against Americans

FBI spokesman Richard Kolko told ABC News Wednesday, May 27: Although there have been similar messages in the past, the FBI and Department of Homeland Security have no intelligence of any specific plot or indication of a threat to the US.” The FBI has sent a bulletin to 18,000 law enforcement agencies across the country “out of an abundance of caution.”

Al Qaeda has called on terrorists to use biological, chemical and nuclear weapons to attack the West in a new video.

The 39-minute, documentary-style video, entitled Nuclear Jihad: The Ultimate Terror, was posted on the militant al Ekhlaas forum.

The narration on the video says: “The idea of killing lots of people, this idea is available to us, and it must be used under the idea of treating others the same, so I say that terror in their countries must involve human losses and these human losses must be with WMD.”

Internet giant Google is again coming under fire for its apparent snub of Memorial Day, but the company’s biggest competition, Yahoo, displayed a holiday-oriented logo featuring military dog tags and a purple heart.

“It’s Memorial Day, the day Americans honor those who have served and given their lives in defense of our freedom. And once again Google, the Internet giant search company, has chosen not to honor these people,” said WND reader Darin Kallen.
